About
The MAP02 project aims to make daily medication intake simpler and safer. To this end, an innovative platform is being developed, comprising a smart medication dispenser, an app for patients and carers, and a web platform for healthcare professionals. This solution will enable closer, more personalised monitoring, designed especially for elderly adults or those who face challenges in managing their daily medication.
MAP02 is led by BHT, Unipessoal, Lda., a company based in the central region of Portugal, in partnership with MOLDATA. The project also involves collaboration with two research units from the Polytechnic University of Leiria — ciTechCare and CDRSP — as well as the University of Coimbra. The project is funded by the Portugal 2030 programme.
